Since1999
It started as a one-off. Den Hegarty and Ben Slator got a group of friends together to play the opening of Butterleigh village hall, under the name Absolutely No Bloody Commitments Whatsoever. At the celebration afterwards in The Butterleigh Arms, the Soul Traders were born.

The sound
The sound of
the originals.
Keeping soul music alive in the South West. We play the classic soul and Motown records everyone knows, with real attention to detail in getting close to the sound of the originals. Five horns, four voices and a rhythm section make that possible.
